I’m a young driver and my engine oil warning came on for the first time and I was a bit nervous as I didn’t know what it meant. I drove in and Phil checked my oil and it was empty. After seeing my perfect car advertised on Auto Trader at Abberton Car Sales, I gave them a ring and was helped by Stuart, who was very helpful throughout the process of buying my car. I was given a very fair quote for my old car as a part-exchange. When problems arose with my car after collection, the whole team were very accommodating, fixing all issues and providing me with a free loan car for a week while my car was repaired. I can’t recommend Abberton enough, especially Stuart at the Layer Road site. A really well-run business with very helpful staff.
I couldn’t have asked for better service from this company. After driving away in the car I’d bought I discovered a couple of small issues and informed Abberton Car Sales, dreading that I’d be told it was my problem. Instead they were straight onto finding solutions and I was so pleasantly surprised.
They have sorted out the issues and really did their best to make it as little inconvenience to me as possible, particularly as I dont live locally.

I had a problem with my Mercedes Benz B Class from Abberton Car Sales, Mersea. Unfortunately, it was an issue they could not deal with, and as my 6-month warranty covered me, they offered to take it to Mercedes Benz Colchester, or if I wanted, I could take it myself to Mercedes-Benz Ipswich.
As I worked not far away from Mercedes Benz Ipswich, I decided to take my car to the Ipswich branch.
Abberton Car Sales sorted me an appointment at Mercedes Benz Ipswich, and the day finally came around.
It was booked in for Tuesday (diagnostics), something was found, and the garage gave the go-ahead for the work to be done on Wednesday; at this point, Luke (Abberton Car Sales) offered me a loan car whilst mine was being repaired.
On Wednesday, the mechanic found a broken bracket; Abberton Car Sales and myself, were informed, and the garage gave the green light for Mercedes Benz to order the part, which should arrive the next day (Thursday); they said they would do their best to get the work done on Thursday. Unfortunately, this was not completed on Thursday, and I was told it would be ready Friday.
At about 11 o’clock, Becky from Mercedes Benz rang; she informed me that Abberton Car sales had sorted out the payment for my warranty work and that the car was ready for collection.
Once again, I was reunited with my now perfectly running Mercedes B Class. A big thank you to all concerned, especially Abberton Car Sales, who held up their side of the 6 Month warranty given to me at the time of the sale. Thank you, guys.
Also, just to let you know, Becky told me that I had bought my car from one of the most nicest garages and pleasant people that she has had dealings with since she had been with Mercedes Benz.
